DEJOHN, Anna F. Sberna, 76, of Wheeling, WV, died Friday, August. 23, 2002, in Peterson Hospital and Geriatric Center, Wheeling. She was born July 12, 1926, in Benwood, WV, daughter of the late Frank and Lucia Loffa Sberna. She was retired from the Foodland Grocery Store. She is a member of St. Joseph Cathedral, Wheeling. She was a long-time member of St. John Catholic Church in Benwood, and she attended Union High School, Benwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank I. Gwynn, Jr., and five brothers, Joseph, Rocco, Samuel, Angelo and Louis Sberna. Surviving are one son, Gary I. Gwynn Sr. and his wife Cheryl of Triadelphia; one sister, Mary Rebich of Middletown, CA; three grandchildren, Gary I Gwynn, II and his wife Nancy of Wheelng, Angela Gwynn-Bringman and her husband Dr. J.J. of Providence, R.I. and Amy Gwynn of Roanoke, VA; four great-grandchildren, Gary I. Gwynn, III, Jefferson R. Gwynn and Jason T. Gwynn, all of Wheeling and Samuel J. Bringman of Providence, R.I., and several nephews and nieces. Friends will be received 2-8 pm Sunday with vigil services at 7:30 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, where services will be held 10:00 am Monday with the Rev. Larry Dorsch officiating. Entombment will be in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, Wheeling. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 98-B E. Cove Avenue, Wheeling or Osiris Child Transport Unit. Monument Place, Wheeling.
