NAGLE, Anna G. Stefan, 95, of Wheeling, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 21, 2008 in Wheeling Hospital.
Anna was born February, 10, 1913 in Neffs, Ohio, a daughter of the late Valentine and Mary Kievach Stefan. She was a member of St. Michael Parish, Wheeling and a former member of the Christian Mothers at St. Michaels. She was also very proud of her Polish heritage.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Nagle; a brother, John Stefan; two sisters, Genevieve Ulrich and Sophie Tomczyk; and a grandson, Eric Nagle.
Anna is survived by her five children, Morris E. Nagle and his wife, Laurel of Barnesville, Ohio, Robert J. Nagle and his wife, Sondra of Triadelphia, W.Va., Patricia C. Nagle of Wheeling, Harold A. Nagle, Jr. and his wife, Charlotte of Wheeling and Jacquelyn Nagle of Warwood; a sister, Philomena Burdyn of Bellaire, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Scott A. Nagle, Vicki L. Nagle, Christopher L. Nagle, David E. Nagle, Anna M. Pilkington, Jason S. Nagle and James S. Burnside; six great-grandchildren, Joshua L. Nagle, Gabrielle Nagle, Nathaniel Nagle, Laurel Pilkington, Catherine Pilkington and Maximus Nagle; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Tuesday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, with the Very Rev. Anthony Cincinnati as celebrant. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Michael Parish Capital Campaign, 1225 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003.
