Bonnie and Patty,

So sorry to hear about your Mom. I know that you were great daughters and your Mom appreciated all that you did for her.

I can remember one of my happiest childhood memories being at your house in Norfolk. We were raking leaves and jumping in them, which seemed like hours. I am not sure whether we were supposed to be helping your Mom or whether she just let us have fun. I have even told my own children of those memories as they were growing up. Fun without any cost.

I will keep your family in my prayers.

Dear Bonnie & Patty,

It has been many years, however, I have thought of your mom and you girls as the years have passed. She and I worked together in the office at A-M Corp. Bonnie, while looking at a map of Richmond recently, I remembered when you went to work at the gardens at Maymont in Richmond after high school.

My thoughts and prayers are with both of you and your familiesd at this time.

Blessings,

Christine Haddaway

Dear Patty and family,

Your Parkway friends are thinking of you at this difficult time at the loss of your mother. It was interesting to note that your mother and mine shared the same birthday and year and were both raised in Norfolk County as it was once called. May your memories of her love embrace you all when you think of her.

Patti & Bonnie,

So sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. Think of all the good times and wonderful memories you shared. Remember when we used to go to work with you mom on weekends and put the filing in ABC order on the floor down the hall? Every time I hear an older Beatles song I think of pretending to be the Beatles rehersing in your living room sprawled all over your mom’s furniture. Raking all those leaves in your backyard which actually turned out to be fun! Your mom played a big part in creating such wonderful childhood memories!!

Patti and Bonnie,

I have wonderful memories of growing up on Lindale Lane in the circle. Carol and I thought of your Mom as our second mother. We have great memories of the huge pile of leaves in the back yard and going to work with your Mom to “help” her file papers. I hope, in time, fond memories can be of some comfort to you both.

Thinking of all of you. I enjoyed the video tribute and have passed it on. I was remembering the Fourth of July with your mom at Bonnie’s house.
