Frank, Ann Matechak, 94, of Benwood WV, died Friday, July 25, 2008 at home.
Ann was born on April 12, 1914 in Old Forge PA. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at Reynolds Memorial Hospital. Ann was a member of St James Catholic Church and was a 1958 graduate of the BM Spurr School of Nursing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry A. Frank; one brother, John Matechak; four sisters, Helen Peck, Alice Ross, Lou Neubauer, and Katherine Benko; her grandson, Daniel A. Frank II; her granddaughter, Melissa Frank.
Surviving are one son, Daniel A. Frank and his wife Teresa of Ogden Utah; one daughter, Cheryl Stephens and her husband Steve of Glen Dale WV; two sisters, Vera Leonard of Gahanna, OH and Sophia Andorfer of Mt Vernon OH; five grandchildren, Jodi Frank of Salt Lake City, Utah, Curt Stephens of Colorado Springs, CO, Eric Stephens of Glen Dale WV, Jenna Stephens of Glen Dale WV; two great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Jan Johnson, Ann’s caregiver, for the wonderful and loving care she provided to Ann over the years.
Friends will be received at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 214 Marshall St McMechen WV on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 6-8 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 am at St James Catholic Church, McMechen WV.
Interment will follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard WV.

Dan & Family: Sorry to hear about your Mother. Your Mom was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed. God bless her and may she rest in peace. Our Thoughts & Prayers are with you.
