Cathy, Mike and Amy and family members

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I have fond memories growing up in Mil-Acres and all of us hanging out together. Andy was years younger but I always remember him laughing and that giggle. Take Care and God Bless.

Cathy, Mike, Amy

I cannot express how saddened I am by Andy’s passing. To be honest it is quite hard for me to reconcile as I am sure it is for you as well. I have such found memories of our friendship and all the time spent at your house. I still refer to Andy as “my best friend” and based on the various postings I’ve read so to do many others! I wish I could be with you today to show my love and support for you all but unfortunately I am unable to make it. Please know that you are in my entire family’s thoughts and prayers. If you would please let me know of any planned services in the future I would appreciate it. I wish you comfort and peace through this difficult time.

My sincere regards,

Steve Boyle & Family

Dear Cathy, Amy and Mike,

When Josh and I moved to Elm Grove, Andy was one of the first friends that Josh made. They were both 10 years old and I remember driving Josh to your house so they could play together. That friendship lasted until I lost my precious son, Josh, in 1998.

Andy spent a lot of time at our house playing and sometimes thinking up ornery things to do to their friends and friends’ parents. They called the pizza shop one time and had a pizza delivered to one of the parents. The parent was a good sport and paid for the pizza anyway! I remember Andy flying down the street every morning and blowing his horn as he was coming to pick Josh up for high school. They were good, deep friends and they were a part of a group of friends that really stuck together.

My heart goes out to all of you – the loss of Andy is great. He certainly did touch many people in his life with his genuine personality – you knew if he liked you and you knew if he didn’t. That made him special, cause you knew he was sincere in his actions.

I’m sure going to miss Andy and miss him telling me different stories of Josh and him in their childhood days and into their early adult years. Andy had a campaign after Josh passed that every Sunday in the summer he rounded up Josh’s friends and they all came to my house and had a barbecue in my back yard. They waited on me hand and foot. He wanted me to feel better and that was his way of doing it. He told me he would never forget Josh and I know he didn’t. And I will never forget Andy and his endearing ways, loving smile and his big bear hugs.

My prayers are with you that God will give you comfort and peace and help ease your sorrow. My sympathy to you.

I am sorry for your loss. Andy was one of the best guys I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. When I moved back to Wheeling in 7th grade, Andy was one of the first to make me feel welcome. I will never forget him. Andy you will live forever in our hearts and our stories. Love you man.

I would like you to know how very deeply I am feeling the effects of this crushing news.

Andy was like part of the Clutter family for several years.

He was there when my father was sick and when he passed away.

He helped us move when we could no longer stay in my childhood home– and brought friends along to lend a hand.

I remember when he first got Dosia—when she had puppies what an ordeal. Andy, Wagner, and I helped her—we were not the best vet techs– you can imagine… he cared so much for that dog.

Andy always treated my brother Patrick so well—P.R. still talks about him.

He was a terrible golfer, probably the only sport he didn’t do well at, but still rounded up a team for my dad’s scramble when we got it up and running.

Andy was always the life of the party– and made so many friends.

No one will miss him as much as his family, but know that I, for one, will remember him with affection and count myself fortunate for having known him.

His smile and funny way will stick with me forever. I truly wish I could have done more to make him know this.

Sympathy, friendship and hope that Andy can now find peace– He will be truly missed in this world.

Much Love,
