Andrew James “Andy” Berher, 67 of Martins Ferry, Ohio died Monday, August 6, 2012 at his home.

He was born July 8, 1945 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Anthony J. and Mary Clara Kovach Berher.

Andy was a Catholic by faith and a laborer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Berher.

Surviving are one daughter, Jessica Rex Ramsey of Heath, Ohio; three sisters, Beverly Conrad Blaney and Antionette Haynes both of Newark, Ohio and Helen Paul Toth of Beaumont, California; two brothers, Richard Gloria Berher of Silver Springs, Maryland and Robert Marie Berher of St. Clairsville, Ohio. Also one stepdaughter, Becky Sheline of Zanesville, Ohio and one stepson, Christopher Spears of Ohio; two grandchildren, Piper Ramsey and Zane Ramsey and six step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and his former wives and friends, Debbie Brown and Lue Gill.

There will be no visitation. A memorial funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am at the St. Mary Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio with Fr. Thomas A. Chillog as celebrant. Inurnment will follow in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Blaine, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary Catholic Church, 212 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.

I will miss you Andy. I remember when Mom brought you home from the hospital and I showed you to Helen and she said take him back, well Mom kept you and I am very glad she did, I know your happy with God and Mom and Daddy and Joe. Your loving sister
