Dear Sue and Family,

When we remember Andy we will always do so with a smile. Andy was a good friend and a good neighbor. He could be seen on any given day of the week, driving around the ridge, stopping to talk to his neighbors. Checking on someone who just got a new piece of farm equipment or just to talk with us about hunting or the horses or about hay. He always had a kind word.

I’ll never forget the day he pulled in the yard on the new 3 wheeled motorcycle he bought. I was so surprised when he pulled off the helmet and it was him! Andy loved his toys. Andy loved his hunting trips. He loved his farm. He loved his neighbors and he loved his wife and his family. No conversation ever left out his family and he was so proud of all of you. You all made him very happy.

Andy loved life and he lived every day to the fullest. He worked hard, played hard and always had a smile on his face and he left us all with a smile on ours. Life is not about how we died, but how we lived. How much we loved and how much people loved us. By that measure, Andy’s life was a great success.

He will be greatly missed by us and all his neighbors here on Fork Ridge. Blessings and love to all of you.

So sorry to hear about Andy. I haven’t seen him for years but have fond memories of our days at Sanford School together as kids. It appears as an adult he hadn’t changed much from those days over 4 decades ago and enjoyed his short time on this earth as much as anyone. I’m sure he’ll be missed and remembered by both family and friends.

To my Children and Grandchildren, the grief we all feel goes to the depths of our hearts. Your dad/grandpap was a good father a good provider and a friend to many. Know that I love you and will be there for you now as always. Psalm 112:4-7 tells us “Even in the darkness light dawns for the upright.”…The one who is trusting in the Lord knows, even during tragedy, God wil see you through. Love Mom
