Anah Patton
Age: 90
Anah Patton, 90, of Summit Drive, Calcutta, died in the Emergency Room of East Liverpool City Hospital on Saturday, April 14, 2001 after a six month illness. She was born on June 27, 1910 in Beech Fork, WV, the daughter of the late Arnold and Cosby Marie Booth Lakin.
Mrs. Patton was a journalist and author, writing for the Nationwide Trade News and authoring a column, called ”Patton Around”. She was active in the Save Our County Committee and volunteered for various organizations, including the American Red Cross.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Patton whom she married on July 15, 1939.
She is survived by a niece, nephew, cousins and many friends.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Paul Sturm of Rainbow Ministries officiating.
Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home in Calcutta on Tuesday, from 9:00 A.M. up until the time of service.
