Amos James “Jim” LeMasters, 74, of Shadyside, Ohio, formerly of Bellaire, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV.

Jim was born December 30, 1933 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Amos and Effie Decker LeMasters.

He was retired from the Former Mobay Corporation New Martinsville, WV, a member of St. John Catholic Church, Bellaire, Ohio and was a Korean War Army Veteran.

An infant daughter, Kimberly Ann LeMasters, a brother, Ronald LeMasters and a sister Geraldine LeMasters, preceded him in death.

Surviving is his wife Nancy Greenwood LeMasters, a son James A. LeMasters of Shadyside, OH. a daughter Tammy Gross and her husband Steve of Bridgeport, Ohio, a brother Delbert Jo Ann LeMasters of Woodsfield, Ohio, Three grandchildren, Amber Schramm, Nathan Gross and Zachary Gross, two great grandchildren Riley and Joshua Kenny.

Family will receive friends at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio, Saturday from 8:15a.m. until time of funeral Mass at 9:30a.m. in St. John Catholic Church Bellaire, Ohio with Monsignor Gene W. Mullett as Celebrant.

Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Bellaire, Ohio.

Belmont County Council of the American Legion will conduct Services at 9:05a.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John Grade School.
