Amelia Jane Watkins
Age 63

Amelia Jane Watkins, age 63, of Wilbert Ave. East Liverpool, Ohio died at the East Liverpool City Hospital on Sunday, April 4, 2004, after a lengthy illness.

The daughter of the late Thomas and Ida Jacobs Heiney, Mrs Watkins was born in Wellsville on September 13, 1940 and lived her entire life in this area graduating from Salineville High School in 1958.

She was married on November 18, 1961 to Norman Watkins, who preceded her in death in February 1982.

Mrs Watkins is survived by a son, Mark Watkins, a Granddaughter, Samantha Watkins and a Daughter in Law, Sheilia Jasenec all of East Liverpool. Five sisters, Linda Gearin and her husband Lloyd of Newton Falls, Oh., Margaret Maylone and her husband, Harold of East Liverpool, Tomilin Smith and her husband, William of Navarre, Oh., Levadus Lujano of Warren, Oh. And Delcie Dalrymple of East Liverpool. She is also survived by over 50 Nieces, Nephews, and Great Nieces and Nephews as her dear friends, Kenny and Belinda Wellington, Shelley and Kelly Mills, and Jeff Vennum all of East Liverpool.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Donovan Heiney, and 2 daughters.

Memorial services will be held in the Chapel at Columbiana County Memorial Park on Friday, April 9, 2003, at 1:30 PM with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Wellsville Church of the Nazarene and Pastor Dan Halloway of the Church of God in East Liverpool.

Burial will follow in Columbiana Co. Memorial Park.

There are no calling hours planned, but the family will receive friends at the Dixonville Fire Station on Anderson Blvd. in East Liverpool for food and fellowship following the Memorial Service.

The Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
