Amanda Belle Gray, 95, of Cadiz, Ohio, formerly of Bellaire, Ohio passed away Tuesday May 19, 2015 at the Carriage Inn, Cadiz, Ohio
Amanda was born January 29, 1920 in Gap Mills, WV a daughter of the late Horace and Sarah Gross Walker.
She was retired from Bellaire Clinic, was a member of the former St. Paul’s AME Church where she played the Piano, She was a member of the Republican Party.
Preceding her in death was her first husband Victor M. Green Sr., her second husband Ezekiel Gray, a step-son, Leonard Gray, five sisters, Nellie Day, Myrtle Booth, Martha Day, Julia Gross and Willa Lymon,
Survivors incude, two sons, George Sohn Green of Seattle WA, Victor “Butch” Friend Karen Roby Green of Bridgeport, OH, a daughter, Jeanette Benny Burgins of Cadiz, OH, a step-daughter, Linda Jackson of Kansas City, KS, 14 grandchildren 16 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received 2-4pm & 6-8pm Thursday at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11am Friday with Pastor Bobby Ellsworth officiating.
Burial follow in Holly Memorial gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
