Alma Pearl Kenney Bliske, 90, of North Carolina formerly of Wheeling, died Tuesday, July 31, 2001, in Nash Grove Manor.
She was born December 18, 1910, in Graysville, Ohio, daughter of the late Francis M. Kenney and Cora C. Gill.
She was a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester A. Bliske in 1988; three sisters, Augusta A. Smoot, Gertrude Wavra, and Hilda Coplan; and one brother, Lester F. Kenney.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Ann Licata and her husband, Sam of Battleboro, N.C.; two sisters, Helen Kramer of Wheeling, and Lucille Reinbeau of East Rochester, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren Maggie Licata-Brothers of Fort Riley, Kansas, Matthew Licata of West Lafayette, Indiana, and Mark Licata of Battleboro, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove. A vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral liturgy with mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling. Internment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
