Alma Josephine Norward Washington

NORFOLK- Alma Josephine Norward Washington, 82, passed away in her home on August 21, 2009. Ms. Washington was a retired licensed practical nurse.

She was born in Collins, Georgia to the late Ernest Norward and Juanita Mosley Norward.

She is survived by three daughters, Bettie C. Givens, Lorraine Jackson-Ogundana, and Nancy Johnson; and five grandchildren, Larry Spencer, Suzanne Givens, Sterling Givens, Kevin Hayes and Christina Hayes.

Services will be private.

Altmeyer Funeral Home 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462 is in charge of the arrangements.
