Polivka, Alma C. “Jun Jun” 79, of Bellaire, OH died Friday, September 7, 2012 in Country Club Retirement Campus, Bellaire, OH.

She was born December 2, 1932 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Andrew C. and Wilma Riska Dorris.

She was a homemaker and a Protestant by faith.

Preceding her in death was her husband Norman H. Polivka on November 6, 1998 and a sister, Janet Dorris.

Surviving are her children; Barbara Goodson of Whitehall, OH, Cindy David Kimbro of Martins Ferry, OH, Roseann R. Polivka of Bellaire, OH and Jeff Polivka of Columbus, OH, a brother, Andy Mary Dorris of Conroe, TX, Dorothy Tatreau of Fresno, Calfornia, Helen Tony Ramos of Ormond Beach, Fl, Catherine Leroy Nelson, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio where services will be held at 1p.m. Tuesday with Pastor James Lish officiating.

Interment follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Jeff and Family, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time. Even though we never had the privilege of meeting your mother we feel that we’ve known her for years by seeing her through your eyes, a kind, sweet but firm mother who loved her family very much.
