Terry,
I was shocked to read in today’s paper about Alice’s passing. She was such a dear person and we all will miss her around the Royal Mace.
Terry, if you need anything, please contact me at home or at the restaurant. Please let me help and I will keep you in my prayers. I’m sorry that I will to teaching tomorrow at ITW/Southland from 8AM to 5PM so will be unable to attend the memorial service. Please know that I care.

Terry,
I’m sorry I can’t be there for you but you are in my thoughts and my prayers.
With love,
Your other family
There are no words that can adequately ease your grief and sorrow at this
time, but I wanted to let you know how deeply Alice also touched the lives
of others.
As a resident at Royal Mace, Alice and I got to be “friends”. No matter how
bad a day I had at work or what turmoil may have been going on in my
personal life, as soon as I’d walk into the lobby she would run out to meet
me, with that infectious smile, and give me a hug and wouldn’t let go. That
smile and hug could erase all of the bad things in my day and bring sunshine
back into my life.
Her loss has deeply affected me and walking into the lobby now is very
difficult knowing she’ll no longer greet me. I can only imagine the
emptiness she has left in your family, if her loss has left such a hole in
my life.
She may be gone physically, but she will live forever in my thoughts,
memories, and in my heart.
Please let me know if I can do anything at all to help you through this
difficult time.
Sincerely,
Gail Ainley
