Albert W. Brinkman

Brinkman, Albert W., “Uncle Alby”, 72, of Moundsville, WV, died Monday, January 5, 2009 at home.
He was born August 12, 1936 in Wheeling, a son of the late Albert and Hannah Redford Brinkman. Alby was a member of the Ash Avenue Church of God, Moundsville, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Brinkman and Louis Brinkman; a sister, Bertha Horvath.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends received from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the Ash Avenue Church of God, Moundsville, with Rev. Jeff Hancock officiating.
Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Wheeling. The Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct military graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bill Brinkman Benefit Fund, c/o Ash Avenue Church of God, 127 Ash Ave., Moundsville, WV, 26041.
