MILLER, Sr., Albert Leo Dick, 79, of McColloch Street, Wheeling, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002 in Wheeling Hospital. He was born November 24, 1922 in Wheeling, a son of the late William and Clara Schauer Miller. He was a retired supervisor for Weimer Meat Packing and was a member of the Elm Grove Eagles, American Legion and St. Joseph Cathedral, Wheeling. He also was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Madelyn Rule Miller, a grandson, Dane Dantrassy; three brothers, Lawrence, William, and David Miller; five sisters, Alice, Louise, Alberta, Margaret and Kathryn. Surviving are Muriel McGannon of Wheeling; two sons, Albert L. Miller, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Wheeling and Thomas L. Miller and his wife Cathy Ann of Cape Coral, FL; a daughter, Kathryn A. Candy Miller of St. Petersburg, FL; four grandchildren, Thomas L. Miller, Jr. and his wife Kim of Cape Coral, FL, Dawn Marie Miller of Wheeling, Amanda Ann Miller of Wheeling and Dane Malatinski; one great-grandson, Kyle J. Miller of Cape Coral, FL; one brother, Edward Miller of Triadelphia; three sisters, Martha Robinson of Wheeling, Betty Domyan of Martins Ferry, OH and Eileen Behrens of Wheeling; Nephew and Best Friend, Larry and Nancy Miller and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, and Wheeling. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Cathedral, Wheeling. Entombment in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to either the American Cancer Society or Valley Hospice, 98 B East Cove Avenue, Wheeling.
