Chieffalo, Albert, 81, of Benwood, WV, died Sunday, September 14, 2008 in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.
He was born February 22, 1927 in Benwood, a son of the late John and Theresa Cantalice Chieffalo. Albert was a retired employee of West Liberty State College, a member of the West Liberty Christian Church, and a veteran of the U. S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Theresa Chieffalo and Beth Ann Ragan.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 35 years, Virginia L. Chieffalo; two sons, Jay Dee Chieffalo of McMechen, and Albert Linda Chieffalo of Washington, PA; six daughters, Debbie Dave Shelek, Janet Chieffalo, and Marie Burnett, all of Wheeling, Lois B.J. Ebeling of New Martinsville, WV, Pamela Bill Marinelli of Bellaire, OH, and Trina John Weitzel of Triadelphia; five brothers, John Chieffalo of Newport Ritchey, FL, Herman Annette Chieffalo of Oceanport, NJ, Sam Candi Chieffalo of Macedonia, OH, Anthony Betty Chieffalo of Boggs Run, Benwood, and Jim Chieffalo of Wheeling; two sisters, Phyllis Chieffalo Bonsignore of Benwood and Marie John Chieffalo Klenowski of Wheeling; many endeared grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Friends received 6-8 pm Tuesday and 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Benwood McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall St., McMechen with Rev. Dennis Arnold officiating.
Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Liberty Christian Church, 201 Chatham St., West Liberty, WV 26074.
